Anonymous Customer Survey.

Thanks for taking a moment to provide some opinion on what type of guided activities you might be interested in booking onto in 2025, and to help me gauge which of my own ideas are worth advertising.

I strive to provide the most professional service possible and offer value for money for to all my clients. While I am of course available for private bookings all year 'round, a lot of returning customers have cited that they much prefer to book on my guided activities for small groups. This allows the booking fee to be more economical for clients and it also provides that chance to meet like minded folk and enjoy the activity as a group.

There have been many suggestions throughout 2024 received via my participant feedback forms or in person. In order for me to try and offer the best possible selection of activities next season and run my business in as cost effective a manner as possible, any further feedback would be greatly appreciated. The below activities have been picked from the most popular suggestions on my Participant Feedback Form results, and in person suggestions that I hear on a regular basis.

From the following descriptions, please could you rate each on a scale of 1 - 5 of how likely you would be to book a space if you were free on the advertised date (1 being not at all likely, 5 being very interested).

Larger Lake District Mountains such as Scafell Pike, Helvellyn and Blencathra. Routes requiring walking experience and a good level of hill fitness being strenuous with uneven mountain terrain and/or having technical scrambling sections.

Lake District Wainwright "Bagging" walks, taking in multiple summits. Longer routes with steep hill terrain requiring a good level of hill fitness but less technical experience.

Lower level walking in the Lake District visting places of interest and offering the best of seasonal scenery.

Such activities could be classed as largely "valley level" and suitable for those with a moderate level of fitness, include lower fell summits, frests and sites such as Castlerigg Stone Circle, waterfalls or caves.

Hill and moorland walks in the Peak District involving some strenuous hill climbs where a reasonable level of hill fitness would be required.

Hill and moorland walks in the Yorkshire Dales involving some strenuous hill climbs where a reasonable level of hill fitness would be required.

Hill and moorland walks in the West Pennine Moors involving hillside paths, long distances and several sites of historic or natural importance where a basic level of hill fitness would be required.

Any mountain, hill and moorland or valley level activities in Eryri (Snowdonia) or North Wales in general. You can use the personal suggestion box below to specify further.

Night time walks, for example to catch the sunrise or an important calendar event like winter or summer Solstice.

Long distance walks, such as the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge or even multi day back packing routes like the Cumbria Way.

Outdoors workshops that would include bushcraft, foraging or wildlife spotting. Such an event could take place in a woodland area or out on the hillside, but is unlikely to require any previous hiking experience or high fitness level.

Wellness retreats with qualified Holistic Therapy professionals.

This is something I have been asked about and I could be involved in terms of leading guided walks that may include outdoor yoga and other wellbeing activities as part of a larger weekend event by another affiliated provider.
